Two really hard biology questions?

miotic cell division in a geranium plant differs from a miotic cell division in a mouse. the difference is that in a mouse...

a)spindle fibers are produced

b)cell plates are synthesized

c)centrioles are replicated

d)chromosomes are paired

e)all of these occur

which event occurs in the cytoplasmic division of plant cells but not in the cytoplasmic division of animal cells?

a) cell plate formation

b) centriole formation

c) chromosome replication

d) centromere replication
Two really hard biology questions?
Are you trying to get people to do your homework for you....actually these seem like test questions. At any rate, thanks for the 2pts.
Reply:Plants do not have centrioles they are a mammalian phenomena only. I bet you can figure out the answers now.
Reply:d + c
Reply:The first should be c; the second should be a.

Since plant cells lack centrioles, that automatically gives the answer to the first question.

In the divison of plant cells, a cell plate forms in between the duplicates and splits the cells. Animal cells lack the formation of a cell plate, as they also lack the formation of the resulting cell wall.

The link I picked should explain it sufficiently.
