What do you feel is the meaning.....?

of your life? What gets you up in the morning? Is the smell of your automatic coffee maker kicking on or something deeper? Is your job that fullfilling that you feel you could live for ever? Or is it family? Friends? Or could it be the geranium you have hanging in the kitchen?

Serious and foolish answers are welcome.
What do you feel is the meaning.....?
For me, love is the starter. If that's there, then I can enjoy all the other pleasures, from sunrises to chess, to concerts to baseball games. Not to mention kissing, flirting and teasing.

gotta find some sort of food to jumpstart the day. life means sustenance at times.



gotta shower and dress like a penguin to go to work. life means responsibility at times.



gotta work with my spouse to keep the household functioning. life means compromise at times.



get a hug good morning from my kids each day. life has no better meaning, making all the rest worth having.
Reply:My 2 year old daughter is the meaning of my life. She is what wakes me up every morning that I am home. I am home most nights but there are a few nights that I work.

The meaning of life is this: to serve God and keep His commandments. We were created to serve God, not to be His minions, but to love each other and treat each other well.
Reply:nothing gets me up in thbe morning, i just get up. and i do the same thing everyday generally. everyone that surronds me fulfills me. everything i do, well most things i dont like doing, but i am so glad that i am able to do them. some peopel are bed ridden, sick, clincally depressed, or just odnt have the oppurtunity to do what i do.

a lot of people think life has no meaning. its becuase they lost, or havent found, the meaning that they are looking for. life isnt a waste for anyone.

When I wake up, I know there's something I haven't done yet, someone I haven't met, some leaf unturned.

It's the thought of exploring and learning about things I have only dreamed of.

Whether it's reading a new book or visiting an unknown place on my bicycle, I'm excited because it's NEW!
