How often should you water potted geraniums in Las Vegas NV?
you should once a week,that big of of a pot would drink about 3 to 4 cups this time of the year .watering will help protect the roots from freezing.the best way to measure it give it 3 cups check in 4 -5 days if its still wet, you will know it was enough. if dry add a little more.
Reply:water once a week until it gets colder then water every 2 weeks! They should bloom all winter! Ive Had a plant for 5 years! Im in AZ!
Reply:when they feel dry about 1 inch down into the soil. Stick your finger down there and if it feels cool, or moist, it doesn't need water. Also watch the leaves. if they begin to wilt down, then water.
Reply:I would think at least twice a day. I understand it is very dry out there. I envy you your geraniums this time of year. The frost got all of mine.
