Coffee grounds make great fertilizer for all sorts of plants, and Starbucks gives them away for free, all you do is ask.
Reply:I put about one cup in each of my Geraniums about once a month.

My mother taught me to do it and she always had the prettiest Geraniums in the neighborhood.
Reply:not coffee grounds.........tea grounds take your old or use coffee add water to it and water your plants with that
Reply:Anything organic will be composte.

Nothing special about coffee grounds...they are just from a plant.

Old vegies from the fridge will work after they break down.

Otherwise, they will steal nitrogen from your soil at first.

That is why we compost these things first.
